The purpose of this committee is to create a forum for discussing the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the insurance technology industry. The committee will bring together experts from the insurance and technology sectors to share knowledge and insights, and collaborate on new ideas and solutions that can improve the insurance ecosystem in the region. Besides, through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and feedback, members of this community will have the opportunity to create a supportive and inclusive environment for those interested in producing and participating in high quality podcasts.


The objectives of the committee are as follows:

  1. To identify emerging technologies and trends that can be applied to the insurance industry

  2. To assess the impact of technology on the insurance industry and its customers

  3. To explore new business models and opportunities that can be created through the use of technology

  4. To foster collaboration and innovation among insurance and technology experts

  5. To raise awareness of the importance of technology in the insurance industry among stakeholders and the public.

  6. Create a platform for members to share their work, receive feedback, and collaborate on podcast production.

  7. Host roadshows to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking among members.



Membership in the committee is open to individuals who are experts in the insurance or technology sectors, or who have a strong interest in the intersection of these two fields. The committee will consist of at-least 10 members to form, including a leader.


The responsibilities of the committee are as follows:

  1. To meet regularly to discuss and exchange ideas on technology related issues in the insurance industry.

  2. To showcase research on emerging technologies and trends in the insurance industry that has the potential to be converter to a podcast.

  3. To collaborate on new ideas and solutions that can improve the insurance industry through technology.

  4. To prepare and offer keynotes / sessions on insurtech.



The committee will meet at least four times a year, or as determined by the leader / members. Meetings may be conducted in person or virtually, and may include presentations from guest speakers and experts in the insurance and technology sectors.


It's a member lead committee and hence members can bring forward ideas and recommendations to the committee leader and vice versa for execution.

Term of Appointment:

The term of appointment for committee members will be for two years, with the option to renew for an additional two years.


This charter may be amended at any time by a two-thirds vote of the committee members.



The committee may be dissolved at any time by a two-thirds vote of the committee members. Since, Insurtech Story is non-commercial platform, there will be no provisions for fund management and treasure and hence in the event of dissolution, the question of any monitory element will not arise. It's a volunteer lead and managed committee.
